About SASN
The International Workshop on Scalable Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks (SASN '09) is devoted to deeper understanding in the issues related with scalable ad hoc networks, including Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Vehicular Ad hoc NETworks (VANETs) and all kinds of wireless networks.
SASN '09 is intended to encourage cooperation among researchers and push the theoretical and practical research forward for a deeper understanding in the fundamental algorithm, modeling theory, and analysis techniques of scalable wireless networks.
SASN '09 is co-located with ICUMT '09, The International Conference on Ultra Modern Telecommunications, and is to be held in Saint Petersburg between October 12 and 14, 2009.
The workshop proceedings will be published by IEEE Xplore.
Authors of selected outstanding papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for consideration of publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems (IJCNDS).
